8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel very grateful to the hard-working teachers at this school who take an avid interest in my children and communicate frequently with me about their progress. I am really impressed with how administrators handled a student who was not behaving properly in class, by teaching empathy in a “restorative circle.” All the parents I’ve met seem really nice, and I feel proud to be part of the community. The kids have amazing opportunities like swim lessons during the day and can do robotics in the after school. All this, and it’s bilingual!I do wish the aftercare program was in Spanish, and that they offered Spanish summer camp on site.Parent Review1y ago - Jackson-Reed High School

"Love it! Safe. Beautiful flowers and trees everywhere. Boasting a very solid restaurants/bars/groceries scene. And close to AdMo & downtown. For me the best place to live in DC hands down. Real estate has been trending strongly upwards as the neighborhood is highly sought now."

"Don’t let your kids play with the borrachos. Expensive outdated housing but a kind community. Little El Salvador "
- Afreiwal

"There’s not a dog park in mount pleasant but there is one in cohi and another one around Adams Morgan/Adams mill. There seem to be a lot of dog owners in the neighborhood. It’s a really lovely neighborhood for walks, with lots of greenery and sidewalk. Not sure if many houses have proper back yards. Most homes are super expensive single family, basements or group houses (with 5-6 people sharing a house)."
