Description

FULLY FURNISHED WITH ALL UTILITIES - One of a kind property with 700' of frontage on the Sacramento River. Peaceful and secure on 20 acres in an exclusive gated community. Just bring your personal items. Everything you'll need is here. Length of stay is negotiable. Available mid June. This location has no public transportation. You will need a vehicle. Enjoy the outdoors with a wide open view of the river with Mt Lassen straight out to the east. There is a large wrap around composite deck as well as a beautiful patio area on the lower level. A front porch affords views of the setting sun and an olive orchard. Wildlife abounds with deer and wild turkeys roaming the property daily. There are wonderful hiking trails nearby. There is a single kayak and a double kayak that can be made available for use. You'll feel like you're on vacation and will not want to leave.

FULLY FURNISHED AND ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED subject to a reasonable cap to be discussed. Absolutely no smoking inside or outside. Preference is adults only. Published cost is for up to two adults. Additional cost for no more than four total. I prefer no pets but would consider a small dog. No visitors beyond 72 hours. A caretaker lives on the property in a separate unit and will oversee and assist if necessary. Rental agreement and duration will be tailored to specific tenant(s). I would consider shorter or longer terms. The owner's personal items stay in place unless other arrangements are made. The lower level daylight basement could be split off from the lease meaning two separate units could be made available. The owner is flexible and willing to discuss options to suit.

"People’s dogs are always loose getting into trash or attacking things. Not a good place if you’re looking for peace. "
  • Tjstock1984
"We have several families that have dogs. Rural area people have horses and goats and other livestock. Close knit neighbors and we look out for each other "
  • Brookenickell
"My neighborhood is very close to the grocery store and many schools. It may be a small town but everyone in it is very nice"
  • Marshall R.
"There is a lot of a small businesses around and they are all great and if you feel you need something more there’s nearby cities "
  • Shar O
"I live 10 miles from the freeway! Then it’s right there...Cottonwood! Go north on freeway and there’s Anderson, next, Redding. Go south and it takes you to Red Bluff! You have to drive a little! But traffic isn’t too bad!"
  • Ron P.
"they would have a lot of land to roam and fish and horses riding and swimming in the lake that they have here 3 to 4 miles from the freeway 1 market."
  • Shellykelley516
"I've lived in this area all my life and love the atmosphere and the neighbors are always so friendly! "
  • Rhonda T.
"All dogs should be in fenced yards. NOT running loose. There are not many paved sidewalks, and no dog parks in Cottonwood "
  • Danielle A. T.
"We have the cottonwood rodeo. it's very fun but needs better seating or your sitting in the sun, but it's a great experience and awesome for families and friends to attend. "
  • Emauwbrey
"I just moved here 5 days ago, and do not know anyone except one immediate neighbor. I have been told there are an older neighbor household across the street but I have not been here long enough to meet them. The neighborhood is small and very quiet so far, some are seniors (over 55) and others are working class. Thanks Trulia, wish me Blessings in my new home! You have always been ‘Tops’ in my book😊."
  • danmabry
"30-40 minute drive to activities in Redding. Lots of HOA problems. 700+ lawsuits. "
  • danmabry
"The Lake California POA has had a number of struggles over the years. Currently homeowners are facing 11+ million in Law suits while only having 2 million in insurance. The POA itself has instigated over 700 lawsuits against 1300 families over the years. Lots of natural beauty, but distant for shopping and jobs. "
  • Thad C. C.
"I have visited the Cottonwood area many times and specifically around the Adams Road ranches. It is a beautiful area with great people and is excellent for horse people and those who want space."
  • Matspeach60
"This is where everyone wishes they could live. People retire here because it's more affordable than the rest of California and it's where everyone comes to visit for outdoor activities. "
  • P G.
"I raised my children in the area. Excellent schools, very safe, neighbors watch out for one another, very peaceful and private! My children learned to drive here and are the best drivers! The school bus came right to my door. Great 4-H club ! Great week-ends at the lakes, on the slopes, sledding, hiking, fishing, hunting, and on it goes! All of the recreational opportunities you could want and all can be done in a day trip!"
  • Debbieamall
"Owners have been great in keeping this a safe, family friendly community. "
