3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly, any student who wants to learn can get a great education here. Teachers respond in a timely manner to emails. Every parent has access to their child's gradebook and attendance. Those who are taught to value education and make good decisions thrive here. Getting involved in the many activities that are offered both during and after school also provide great opportunities to build character. There are many teachers there who have even graduated from Carrick. This is just my experience, but the ability to gain a good experience is available to all.Other Review4y ago - Pittsburgh Allegheny 6-8

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI never write poor reviews but I would never recommend this school to anyone. The front office is very unorganized. Employees in the front office are rude. If you have a choice, don't let this school be yours!Parent Review9y ago - Pittsburgh Dilworth K-5

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is phenomenal. We are so fortunate to go here. Our daughter loves school, has made wonderful friends. From the first week the teachers all seem to know every child by name. Students are greeted each morning with an all-school assembly with drumming, singing, a welcome message by the Principal, and the school rock band rocking out. Its a fantastic way to start the day! There are tons of field trips, lots of art and music incorporated into each day. We love it here!Parent Review6y ago - Pittsburgh Science And Technology Academy 6-12

"I lived there for many years, the parks are great. The grocery store is not within a walking distance. There are lots of shops, ethnic foods, bars and restaurants on the boulevard. It is over a mile from southcrest, but is on the busline. Without car you need to get rides to gricery stores though. It is a safe neighborhood I raised kids here for about ten years."
- Dennis R.

"Close to everything. Airport, downtown, stadiums, nightlife. Great transportation options. Good ethnic food"
- Qua5545

"What makes Brookline unique is the walkability of it, the amount of local stores within walking distances and morning commute into town from 15 - 30 mins. Also there is a community gym, pool and many parks. They are also renovating the aldi's to be much larger than it previously was. South Hills Village is roughly 20-30 min drive. A lot of dog walkers in the area and younger people as well, certainly an up and coming neighborhood in that regard."
- Randi S.

"It’s typically a quiet neighborhood and most people take care of their property and residence. It has a lot of community stores, restaurants and parks. The field is beautiful and their is a Deck hockey field also."
