2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePersonally (& i speak for alot of the CO26 alumni) there was a time where everything was fine , but as things changed around the school from freshman year we started to realize that the principal was weird.. she never engaged with students, and she was never around. Alot of the staff was weird too, also disrespectful. I appreciate a small portion of the staff and teachers but the rest of them were just awful. This school has great opportunities but the admin only cares about what you do or wanna do with your future when its already too late. All the good staff is unfortunately leaving or retiring and theres gonna be a huge wave of long term subs again (which made alot of our sophomore year terrible and we almost slacked off during a REQUIRED CORE CLASS) i wish the best of luck to whoever attends next. Theres also a scandal almost every week and it usually involves a teacher. The yearbook people also dont do the best job, and all the students are “cliqued” by their supposed social status and high ego of them thinking they are better than everyone else. This school also undergoes a large range of messy situations with students and admins do nothing about it or handle the situation when it is too late. I found that I was satisfied with how easy it was, it made me almost excited to go because of how easy everything was—but that could possibly be because I am gifted. I found myself slightly bored by the material, and I found that I was VERY neglected when it came to math. I was encouraged to learn, and become better, and I do appreciate that, although I cannot help but feel as if I wasn't given the materials. At least in my time here, we never really had a stable math teacher, or any teacher in that case. Teachers would come, and they would go, they'd quit, and then a new one would come in. The substitute teachers do not really care about our learning, I found that our math period was more of a free period. If you want to use that time to learn, then I guess it will benefit you, but if you are every student, including me.. I find that you will be left behind. The students are kind, but also not given the materials to shine as bright as they could. They showed mercy to me when other schools would've devoured me. As all schools do, there will be bullying, but it isn't as bad as other schools. They handle it well, and the students have empathy and care for others. I didn't really learn much that I didn't know already, and other students had hard time grasping the materials. They bring you on many field trips, and try their best with what they have. The only unfortunate part, is that they do not have much to work with. I see a bright future for this school, and I appreciate the 'opportunities' that were made for me. "It is a residential neighborhood, but there are many nearby good restaurants and shopping areas. We also have a thriving commercial area. There is also easy access to the highway and light rail."

"Depending on your commuting preferences, you can easily get here via highway access or by avoiding the highway and taking city streets. In my personal experience, just about everywhere I go is a commute of 30 minutes or less."
