Hinkley High School

I am a staff member at the school. If you are thinking of applying to work at Elkhart in ANY capacity, STAY AWAY!! You will be put through a lot of scrutiny by the current principal. She was promoted three years ago. Since she took over the school, the test schools have been steadily declining. Teachers are extremely unhappy. Close to 40 staff members from paras to teachers left the building over a two-year period. If you are disliked by the principal, she will do everything to distroy your career, reputation, and your self-esteem. The school transformed from a vibrant, happy, and inclusive space into something lifeless—like the Walking Dead.

My kid really love it there and he loves his teachers miss deb and Mr bill looking forward to having my next kids start there this next coming year

I hate this school I wish they had a complete turnover from the principle to the office staff. Worst experience was taking my kid here she was bullied for months and is still messed up from it years later because not a single adult at the school was a safe place for her at such a young age (2nd grade) and the teachers, counselor, and principle took the other child's side completely there was no middle ground or hearing us in any way. We were labeled the bad parents from the get go. My child labeled the bad kid and my family has suffered absolute hell going through it. This school made my child hate education and even the IDEA of making friends. Not a single person there cares about kids or listening to a little girl get bullied and they won't do anything. They refused to change classrooms and by the end of the year my kid was tormented so badly we said we would never come back to this school, ever. Save yourself the heartache and don't bother with this school stay far away. They employ people like the office staff that is so rude it should have been my first clue.. well. Live and learn. Posting so someone else doesn't go through the hell me and my family did with this awful school.
