I hate this school I wish they had a complete turnover from the principle to the office staff. OVER crowded classrooms 20-25 students and no teachers aids? Vaughn seems to rely on parent volunteers this is a low income area how do they expect paren

I know all their staff and they are great people.I wish they had more individual teaching after school for the students who are a littke bit behind, but other than that is a good school.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a staff member at the school. If you are thinking of applying to work at Elkhart in ANY capacity, STAY AWAY!! You will be put through a lot of scrutiny by the current principal. She was promoted three years ago. Since she took over the school, the test schools have been steadily declining. Teachers are extremely unhappy. Close to 40 staff members from paras to teachers left the building over a two-year period. If you are disliked by the principal, she will do everything to distroy your career, reputation, and your self-esteem.
