Description
Here is your opportunity to buy the best house in Silverview Terrace. This generously sized 1,600-square-foot single-family home is a rarely available end unit with features you won't find anywhere else in the neighborhood! The home has only one shared wall, windows on three sides, an enormous private yard with mature landscaping on a 5,000+ sq.ft. lot, a two-car attached garage, and downtown and SF bay views from the three bedrooms located on one level. Enter the main living level from the fenced yard or directly from the attached garage, and you'll find the kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, a dining area with sliding glass doors that open to the yard, and a living room with both a fireplace and a bar area. The smart layout has all three bedrooms, the bathrooms, and laundry upstairs. The en-suite primary bedroom has large south-facing windows, a shower with river-rock details, and bay views. The two additional bedrooms face north and share a bathroom off the hallway. Whether your daytime destination is Silicon Valley, downtown, or your home office for zoom calls, the location at the top of the Bayview and Silver Terrace neighborhoods offers great weather, easy transit access, and nearby freeways.

"Neighbors are long time residents and look out for the block. They literally pick my weeds on my sidewalk and pull my garbage out if I forget on garbage day."
- Krisleedietz

"Safe, sunny little neighborhood with views of the Bay. Mostly single-family homes with garages and backyards. A short walk to the nearest shops on San Bruno or Third Street."

"It is a very friendly neighborbood for a big city. The neighbors all work together on garden spaces. And there are some very special block parties. "
- Aimee P.
- Resident

"It’s good but gentrification and Airbnb rentals are taking away from the appeal of this community. It’s a good place to live but definitely changing a lot and not all for the better unfortunately."
- John A.
- Resident
- 4y ago
"The T line is slow to downtown, but they have changed to double cars, so hoping at least it's not as crowded "
- Joe T.
- Resident
- 4y ago
"The streets are quiet and while you can’t easily walk to a commercial retail street, some of the best eating shopping districts in SF are a 5 minute drive away - Bernal, Mission, Dogpatch, Portola, and increasingly more, Bayview."
- Krisleedietz
- Resident
- 5y ago
"There are a few bus routes nearby that may or may not go where you want to go, so expect to transfer. The T-Line is great for going to the dogpatch neighborhood or SoMa, but to get any farther than that may take upwards of an hour. Most of the time we just drive."
- Bigclarita
- Resident
- 5y ago
"Cars drive too fast on narrow streets, and many people block the sidewalks with their parked cars, so it’s not safe to walk with a stroller or small kids."
- Krisleedietz
- Resident
- 5y ago
"Close to both major freeways for easy access to downtown, East Bay, or the Peninsula. However, somewhat removed from the heart of the city."
- Dolaousa10

"I live in this neighborhood for long 11yrs. And I love this neigh but I need to buy my own home anywhere area."

- Dominic A.

"It has unique energy when walking through it. Good weather and good people."
- Melissa G.

"I'm a dog owner, and I love it. So many families own a pet, and it's nice. In fact, I've met great people from walking my baby. Silver Terrace is definitely a great neighborhood to own a pet."
- Melissa G.
- Resident
- 5y ago
"I'm a native San Franciscan who moved to the Silver Terrace area at the age of five. Growing up in my neighborhood was quite fun and exciting, with limited crime. All my life, Silver Terrace was called 'Bayview,' but I guess with all the gentrification that's happening a name changed occurred. Although there are changes happening, it's exciting to see a more diverse group of families around me. There's a great playground where many families go and enjoy time with their children. Many years ago, this was unheard of in my area."
- Melissa G.
- Resident
- 5y ago
"The commute is smooth, with limited congestion. Bayshore Boulevard is a very busy street that has the most traffic during the workweek. Overall, everything is smooth sailing. Silver Terrace also has easily accessible public transportation for those who don't care to drive."
- Beverly T.
- Resident
- 6y ago
"It's safe for walking dogs, but owners must clean up behind them. Pets are welcome in this community as long as they are cared for and not straying all over other people's property."
- Beverly T.
- Resident
- 6y ago
"At neighborhood block parties, everyone comes together with the kids to barbecue, set up games, and plan other events for the betterment of the community. We also have a monthly meeting with the local police department to get information that will enhance our lives and keep us aware of issues."
- Beverly T.
- Resident
- 6y ago
"Transportation is very good: trolley cars on 3rd Street, buses for a connection to BART, paratransit and taxi service."
- Beverly T.
- Resident
- 6y ago
"We have several schools in this community: private and public schools, elementary and high schools, trade schools and training programs for youth."
