What Locals Say about Meadow Lakes

  • Monica Whitehouse
"Wasilla is growing very fast. There are lots of new homes being built, hopefully new businesses will follow to make this a booming area "
  • Monica Whitehouse
"Wasilla is a large space. Depending on where in this city you live, depends on how close or far your neighbor could be from your home. Dogs in our neighborhood for the most part are quiet, and people clean up after their dogs - most of the time. Lots of space in our neighborhood to walk, it’s considered rural so no sidewalks but very little traffic "
  • Pearl
"No snakes. Bears and moose. Pay attention. They do wander through neighborhoods and can be dangerous especially if they have young ones. "
  • Abbymehlhoff
"Dogs constantly roaming with no owners and unleashed. Most people let there dog poop in anyone’s yard and don’t pick it up"
  • Markntree1
"My neighborhood is semi rural there are a few convenience stores close by and a small bulk style grocer"
  • Jennifer R.
"Meadowlakes is beautiful and open, there are a lot of outdoor recreation areas for biking, snow machines, fishing in summer and winter. "
  • Jennifer R.
"We live on a beautiful lake and love the quiet wildlife and sunsets. Close to town and yet very private. "
  • Cesar R.
"Tiny Houses. Tiny Community. Relatively quiet. It is a bit out of the way from everything but if seclusion/isolation is something you are looking for, then this is perfect for people. I've enjoyed living in this part of Meadow Lakes."
  • Akmtnhunter
"Nice quiet area just out of Wasilla. Its far enough out to have some privacy but still plenty close to town should we have to make a quick run into town. Good schools and good people in this area!"
