Shame on the principal, I called to inform him my son was being bullied and he acted as though I was bothering him ! Then tried telling me how I needed to teach my son to not complain so much. Zero tolerance my left foot !!!

All 3 of my children have been there since preschool best school ever, they have rotation which help when moving on to middle school and not feeling lost having to move from class to class. Teachers great I have never had a problem communicating with any of them. Office staff friendly and welcoming. Proud parent since 2008

As a former employee, I feel it is my obligation to my community and my former students to stand up and say something about all I have witnessed at Kepler. I can corroborate the reviews. Comments about students being yelled at by Admin during lunch are true. My students would tell me this too. I even once heard the HR director yell at students saying if they didn't be quiet they would have to treat them like in a military school, facing forward in silence. Claims of parents and staff being reprimanded for speaking up at board meetings are also true. Some parents will be banned for any small incident they deem “a threat”. Some staff members have been fired after speaking up and others have left due to scrutiny. Some staff are given or surprised with additional duties assigned to them outside of their hired department. Any employee who stands up to administration is reprimanded, and their job will be posted for replacement as soon as their employment is terminated. Communication is a huge issue there. There are a lot of questionable decisions being made here. Students are treated as money and not people. A lot of things that are turned down are due to “not enough money in the budget” and funds are constantly being asked for from parents. Information about the allocations are given different responses. Admin does lack in taking action about ANY concerns raised. Many students of color have left due to racist incidents and use of racial slurs such as the n word with the hard r that receive little to no consequence other than laughs and gsnacks in detention. This environment has led parents of color to not feel supported or respected and tend to receive different treatment and acknowledgement of their concerns. There are amazing teachers at this school who do not receive the support they need. This establishment is treated as a business rather than an educational institution. Though Kepler can offer multiple different activities and smaller class sizes, it does not make up for the toxic environment staff and students have to endure under this administration. As a worried community member, I agree: Do not enroll your children here while this administration is in power. We need people who actually care about Student Education and not just appearance.
