We moved to AL and this school and staff was amazing :) should have a higher rating

I love this school and all the teachers and staff. If you treat them with dignity and respect, and if you behave with some humility, they will be more receptive to you just like anyone else would. If you go in there with an attitude of entitlement, the staff and teachers will still treat you with respect, which speaks volumes to the character of the teachers and staff as a whole. They are doing everything they can to take care of your children and help them become successful in life; and that includes the principal, who is a wonderful individual indeed, and is involved with and dedicated to her students every day. The way I see the teachers and staff just love kids, including my own, is really special. Don't underestimate this school just because some other parents saw fit to complain because they didn't get their way here. This is about what's best for your children, and in that regard I can give only the highest recommendation to Walnut Park Elementary School, its teachers, and staff. Even the custodians are respectable and friendly individuals who care! I am sad that this is my oldest child's last year here because of the relationships with the great teachers and staff she will be leaving behind. I'd give this school 100 stars if I could.

My child has been attending St James for 3 years now and my family and I love it! My niece is also apart of the St. James and it's like one big happy family at this school. The teachers are wonderful and will work with your child.

This is a fantastic school. The faculty and staff treat you as if you are a part of the family and provide excellent care for the children. There is after-school care for those parents whom work past school hours. My son has been at this school since K4 and is in the 2nd grade now and he loves it. The curriculum is also great; there is a wide range of knowledge that is provided to each individual child. If you do not believe me, go tour the school for yourself; you will not be disappointed.
