Review Highlights

En inglés
Trenton, MI: riverfront ease with small-town charm, easy drives, parks, and family fun. People like its safety, friendly vibe, parks and Elizabeth Park, festivals, and easy errands. People dislike the boredom, high taxes, train noise, West Road traffic, and uneven sidewalks.

"all the neighbors were very friendly I really liked it in Trenton. It's just that it's a lot of elderly people and a great place to settle down. There's really not a lot of crime out here but in Grosse Ile the teenagers are very wrong functions and unpredictable. They do get in trouble time to time but they don't come over here making trouble here peace out."
  • Rochelle H.

"Trenton is a great area and is close to a major freeway. There is a shopping mall close by and grocery shopping is convenient also. The schools are great and very little crime. Trenton is on the river so there is lots of things to do. Elizabeth Park is a beautiful place to spend time in during the summer. "

"Great public transportation and it’s easy to get around town most of the time. West Road can be a pain during high traffic times, but overall it’s pretty painless to drive across town."

"There needs to be more local parks and athletic facilities in Trenton. The city needs to do a better job of cleaning streets in the summer and fall including removal more frequently of yard and tree waste including branches and leaves Sidewalks need to be maintained better. They are not as safe and level as they need to be for elderly senior walkers"
  • Lindsay M.

"Trenton is a bedroom community with outstanding schools. However, if you want to eat or shop for anything, you have to go elsewhere. While shopping is closeby, it's disappointing you have to go elsewhere for EVERYTHING."
