"I love this area. It’s up and coming. And every time I go out wide to walk or walk my dog people I walk by I so nice and welcoming. Great neighborhood to live in. This area I live I. Reminds me of home in dc living on the hill"
  • Ashleyrgrim
"The character of homes, history of the neighborhood and close proximity to north shore and downtown. "
  • "I live in the War Streets with small children in a Victorian rowhouse. I love the easy walk to work downtown Pittsburgh and the accessability to highways. We have amazing architechture, a community garden, lots of coffee shops local pubs and a woman’s group that gets together once a month to drink and network and has a list serve where we share tips on babysitters or recommendations for plumbers. I walk with my children to the Children's Museum, the Aviary and sporting or other downtown events - and because everything is so close, we only have one car. We have our own central park with a duck pond and a farmer's market on Fridays."
