Joe Hubenak Elementary School

This is a wonderful elementary school that truly cares about its students. Two of my children attend this school and both started here in Pre-K. The teachers and staff are dedicated and supportive, and there is a strong sense of community. Parents are very involved through the PTA, which generously supports school facilities and activities. The school fosters a happy, positive atmosphere where kids feel encouraged and excited to learn. We’re grateful to be part of such a caring school community.

They keep changing the rules. I have had kids in this school since 2013 and they keep changing when I am allowed to eat with my kid. I am no longer allowed to drop off items when my child forgets them. A 10 year old is going to forget their lunch and I need to drop it off. Yes, she can buy lunch but the food there is inedible and hurts her stomach. Katyisd should serve better food to our kids based off of the amount of taxes that we pay.

This is the worst school in Katy I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone, the blond lady in the front office is very rude and rasas The principal very rude too and also the principal assistant, they make my pre-k son hate the schoolJust don’t put your kids in this school

I went to pick up my niece and i forgot my sign and when i told them that i was on the emergency contact list they said they still couldn't give me a sign but they gave my brother in law a sign even thoe he wasnt on the emergency contact list . Hes white im mexican and i never pull the race card but the way the teachers were looking at me and asked my neice if she knew me felt like they were racially profiling me . its just crazy to me how these people can give someone a sign to pick up a kid from the school and they arent even on the emergency list but when a brown man ask for it they have a problem .

We have been at Stanley since it has opened! I have a daughter that has gone through the entire system of Stanley, SLJH and then SLHS and now have kids currently at Stanley. This school has been so good for our kids and their education has thrived here. Teachers genuinely care about the kids and having one that is 504 he has been through the sped program and has done amazing and has placed master level on the staar test! Kids are sweet and lots of parent involvement with volunteering and thriving PTA! This is a great school!

We have been at Westlake for several years now. We have a middle school child and an elementary school child. We are very grateful to have found such an amazing school so close to home - and they are expanding the high school as well! My children have been able to experience many more extracurricular activities than they would have been able to in public school, and the smaller class sizes make their education more personal and hands on. 10/10 recommend. We left highly rated schools in Katy ISD and we have never looked back!
