Today TWE had a Thanksgiving party for students . Our granddaughter is in 4th grade .WOW what a disappointment. 1) teacher was absent .. had a sub 2) 71 year old grandfather had to STAND for 1 hour .. no chairs provided 3) Only students were given snacks . I am a retired teacher …35 years total …25

Before school even started we had issues with being told one thing only to be told something completely different later, about stuff I had repeatedly asked for clarification, was guaranteed it was one way only to be told later it wasn't. 10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey keep changing the rules. I have had kids in this school since 2013 and they keep changing when I am allowed to eat with my kid. I am no longer allowed to drop off items when my child forgets them. A 10 year old is going to forget their lunch and I need to drop it off. Yes, she can buy lunch but the food there is inedible and hurts her stomach. 10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to pick up my niece and i forgot my sign and when i told them that i was on the emergency contact list they said they still couldn't give me a sign but they gave my brother in law a sign even thoe he wasnt on the emergency contact list . Hes white im mexican and i never pull the race card but the way the teachers were looking at me and asked my neice if she knew me felt like they were racially profiling me . its just crazy to me how these people can give someone a sign to pick up a kid from the school and they arent even on the emergency list but when a brown man ask for it they have a problem .Parent Review1mo ago - Special Services Annex

I have a daughter that has gone through the entire system of Stanley, SLJH and then SLHS and now have kids currently at Stanley. This school has been so good for our kids and their education has thrived here. Teachers genuinely care about the kids and having one that is 504 he has been through the sped program and has done amazing and has placed master level on the staar test!
