Poor management and inept teachers. This school goes to great lengths to seem open and inclusive where in fact the reality is quite the opposite. At Shafer, teachers (at least my kid's two teachers) take more than 48 hours two reply emails, principal? Still waiting on a reply after a week I emailed her. VERY DISORGANIZED! Nothing compared to Stanley, unfortunate

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey keep changing the rules. I have had kids in this school since 2013 and they keep changing when I am allowed to eat with my kid. I am no longer allowed to drop off items when my child forgets them. A 10 year old is going to forget their lunch and I need to drop it off. Yes, she can buy lunch but the food there is inedible and hurts her stomach. I have a daughter that has gone through the entire system of Stanley, SLJH and then SLHS and now have kids currently at Stanley. This school has been so good for our kids and their education has thrived here. Teachers genuinely care about the kids and having one that is 504 he has been through the sped program and has done amazing and has placed master level on the staar test!
