Bonnie Holland Elementary School

This is a wonderful elementary school that truly cares about its students. Two of my children attend this school and both started here in Pre-K. The teachers and staff are dedicated and supportive, and there is a strong sense of community. Parents are very involved through the PTA, which generously supports school facilities and activities. The school fosters a happy, positive atmosphere where kids feel encouraged and excited to learn. We’re grateful to be part of such a caring school community.

My son has been attending this school for three years, starting in the bilingual Pre-K program. The school and teachers are excellent—well-organized and truly dedicated to helping him grow and develop his skills. Each year, they host events that bring parents together to build relationships and foster a strong sense of community. Communication with the school is easy; they use online tools and email to keep parents informed about key milestones and any additional support needed.

They keep changing the rules. I have had kids in this school since 2013 and they keep changing when I am allowed to eat with my kid. I am no longer allowed to drop off items when my child forgets them. A 10 year old is going to forget their lunch and I need to drop it off. Yes, she can buy lunch but the food there is inedible and hurts her stomach. Katyisd should serve better food to our kids based off of the amount of taxes that we pay.

Every day when I pick my kids up I’m thankful we’re zoned to Rylander Elementary! The staff genuinely care about all the children and seem to love their work. Truly an impressive administration and faculty, from top to bottom.

This is the worst school in Katy I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone, the blond lady in the front office is very rude and rasas The principal very rude too and also the principal assistant, they make my pre-k son hate the schoolJust don’t put your kids in this school
