Academically the school is ranked high but there is a lot of bullying and favoritism at this school and nothing gets done about it. The school environment is not good as most students are scared to speak up and feel very stressed and pressured all of the time. The Principal does not listen and over

Posted by a parent on 10/27/2023My student is headed into they're fifth year at Tays and I couldn't not be happier. I think they are done a great job raising my kid. I think them be ready for highschool next time.
Posted by a parent on 10/27/2022My child is going into her third year at Tays Junior High School. Teachers are effective and very responsive. Events are well coordinated. Administrators are accessible. The facility is in pristine condition.

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey keep changing the rules. I have had kids in this school since 2013 and they keep changing when I am allowed to eat with my kid. I am no longer allowed to drop off items when my child forgets them. A 10 year old is going to forget their lunch and I need to drop it off. Yes, she can buy lunch but the food there is inedible and hurts her stomach. I have a daughter that has gone through the entire system of Stanley, SLJH and then SLHS and now have kids currently at Stanley. This school has been so good for our kids and their education has thrived here. Teachers genuinely care about the kids and having one that is 504 he has been through the sped program and has done amazing and has placed master level on the staar test!
