PROs: No homework for elementary kids, after school YMCA program if you work late, IB curriculum, active PTO, and my son has never complained of bullies. CONs: no bus route-you have to pick up and drop off. Lastly I think their school communication format, Bloomz, could be better. 10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have to disagree with these comments regarding meeting the needs of students with disabilities. Memorial drive elementary has a team lead by a Lioness. The principal is on top of it like white on rice, she may be overwhelming at times and demands punctual attendance and makes sure every parent is being the best they can be. They have a strong team and the sped department is phenomenal. My son’s ARD meeting was done in weeks of enrollment and I saw nothing but love and passion for the students .
