This elementary school is a vibrant, nurturing place where learning comes alive every day.My son says the teachers explain lessons so clearly that every concept “just clicks,” reflecting their dedication to true understanding.Their passion for teaching shines through in engaging activities that spark curiosity and joy. They genuinely care about each child’s emotional well-being, knowing every student’s strengths and growth areas.Best of all, they team up with parents, turning that insight into personalized support that helps every child thrive.

I took out my kids from this school because teachers are not qualified. They do not cooperate with parents.

Alumni here. You’d be wise to check other schools before settling for this one. You’ll likely get a warm welcome entering this school. If there’s anything this school loves and excels at, it’s keeping an appearance, but behind appearance, a lot of these teachers are very comfortable disrespecting kids. Power trips from the teachers were very common throughout my time in this school. None of this is a secret either. The principal and vice principals are very aware of how loud these teachers could get and, on rare occasions, even join in.So if you think about going to a VP/principal with complaints about a teacher, the teacher will almost always take precedence over the student. Depending on how close they are, your words could be easily disregarded while the teachers are protected and students are silenced. Of course not every teacher feels the need to “discipline” students through verbal abuse. Some of them really are good people who build healthy relationships with their students, but it’s rare. Best of luck to the future students and everyone who left this place.

My daughter has attended St. Helena Elementary school since PK3. She is now entering 7th grade. I couldn’t be happier with the school, staff and my daughter’s achievements. The classes are only one per grade which is helpful. I love the intimacy of the classes as this helps with concentration and individuality. She is not just another student but rather a part of each class. 6th grade has been the most successful yet. The teacher, Mrs. Torres, has a can do, no nonsense approach with the utmost understanding. This isn’t a playground but an academically geared environment with room for fun. This was the most organized year so far. I only wish they had parenting classes for the self centered narrow minded parents that forget that this experience is about our children and our children only. Some could stand to use etiquette and manners, teach their children how to behave accordingly and perhaps refrain from overexposing their children. IT STARTS AT HOME! Thank you St. Helena!

This school is horrible . They tell you your child can not bring lunch from home. Remind you some kids are picky. My son is 3 years old and they didn’t allow him to eat anything all day. They have the janitor outside smoking cigarettes. Please don’t waste your time sending your kid here it’s really unsafe. They even smashed my son finger inside of the door and no one could of told me what happen it was 3 different stories
