Alumni here. You’d be wise to check other schools before settling for this one. You’ll likely get a warm welcome entering this school. If there’s anything this school loves and excels at, it’s keeping an appearance, but behind appearance, a lot of these teachers are very comfortable disrespecting kid

My child had high anxiety and I was told by a teacher she was part of problem being weak. She was picked i by adults. The nurse was completly unprofessional, she told me I have real problems like children with diabetes t
Posted by a parent on 8/1/2026My son came here for prek and he has an IEP and once he got re evaluated for kindergarten they were quick to turn us away due to his hyperactivity and I really felt he was doing well here and I guess they don’t wanna take the extra steps to deal with him they were quick to turn him away
Posted by a parent on 5/13/2026Horrible just horrible they are only nice to you when you visit the school but, after a few years their believing everything that is not true, when someone is getting bullied the one getting bullied is getting in trouble. When someone important like the super intendant suddenly they act like there i
Posted by a student on 3/28/2026This school allowed bullying, they went as far to blame the one being bullied. I er a year of issues and it was a nightmare. The school administration spoke about personal student home life in the office areas where other students could hear ( divorce, acs, and custody)

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible . They tell you your child can not bring lunch from home. Remind you some kids are picky. My son is 3 years old and they didn’t allow him to eat anything all day. They have the janitor outside smoking cigarettes. Please don’t waste your time sending your kid here it’s really unsafe. They even smashed my son finger inside of the door and no one could of told me what happen it was 3 different storiesParent Review3y ago - P.S. 536

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI loved this school when my child attended this school he was going through a transition from ICT to Special education and the school went out of their way to make my child feel comfortable. The teachers worked with him even through all of my child excuses. If there was a problem the parent coordinator would not hesitate to reach out. The parent coordinator treated every child as if they were her own and made you feel comfortable to leave your child at the school. The school also offered parents so many workshops and opportunities to be involved in their child's educational journey.Parent Review1y ago - Archer Elementary School
