It may have changed now, but both my kids had, except for a few exceptions, poor teachers. My kids loved school as soon as they graduated and started at Kiewit.

Unfortunately growing up without a father made me resent the days where students dads could come and spend the whole day at the school, and unfortunately as a child with mental health problems, being punished for them instead of being heard made this elementary school difficult to go through. I was a new student when I was 9, and left the school at 11. I was young for my grade and definitely needed some extra help. UNFORTUNATELY having a mean and disrespectful principal did not help any of that . I used the word unfortunately a lot because this school definitely has potential but does not reach it and will not without new staff and new admin.

We love Catlin! We opted our kids into this school because it feels like family. The principal and staff are stellar! My kids are thriving and asked if we can move into the neighborhood to be closer to friends and the school. Can’t say enough good things about Catlin!

The family involvement is amazing at Columbian. Everyone is welcoming and supportive. They pride themselves on rigorous academics and learning for all. The MTSS-B Interventions and supports help to build the school-wide culture of positive behavior. The social-emotional learning is used daily to support students emotionally and to make positive decisions.

LCS is all-around an excellent school with strong Christian values and teachers who care about students and are great at what they do! We have sent three of our kids to LCS so far and absolutely love it!
