Posted by a community member on 3/30/2020I went to Thomas Johnson for ten years, from Pre-K to 8th grade, and I hated my experience there!
Posted by a community member on 11/25/2019Very positive experiences at Thomas Johnson. Two kids in this school and I’m happy with their progress.
Posted by a parent on 5/21/2019I have raised children and grandchildren and this is the worse school I have ever encountered.
Posted by a parent on 12/7/2017The teachers and staff are always going above and beyond for the students. This school offers numerous clubs and activities for the students, as well a variety of after school tutoring services. This school even offers an after school computer lab for students that do not have a home computer. All the after school clubs, activities and compute labs are all headed by the teachers at this school, who are volunteering their time for our kids. My children and I are highly grateful for this school, because they have countless family activities, such as family bingo nights, family math nights, fall festival, Winter Festival, spring festival, and even family dinner nights. I could not have asked for a better school for my children and I . My biggest fear is when my daughter goes to hight school, and I will not be able to find one that is such a warm, caring and compassionate school as Thomas Johnson Elementary/Middle School.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDr. Carter G Woodson is only what the children, parents and staff make it. In order to get something out you have to put something in. So what are the people doing besides CRITICIZING? STOP TALKING AND DO SOMETHING TO MAKE IT BETTER. PARENTS, FAMILY , FRIENDS AND THE COMMUNITY GET INVOLVED. BE ABOUT MAKING A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER INSTEAD OF THE PROBLEM. YOU NEED THE ENTIRE VILLAGE TO MAKE A CHANGE WORKING ON ONE ACCORDED.Other Review10y ago - Federal Hill Preparatory School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent, small, tight-knit community at this school with teachers and staff who truly care about students. My family has loved sending our 2 boys here and taking advantage of the wonderful resources and programs it offers. My children have both excelled here. Highly recommended!Parent Review1y ago - Pleasant Rock Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNew Century is more than just a preschool; it's a community that nurtures the holistic development of its students. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a place for my child's formative years. The school has a unique blend of warmth, creativity, and academics that reflects the Montessori philosophy. The teachers are the heart and soul of this institution. Their dedication to understanding each child's individual needs and fostering their innate curiosity is amazing. My child has developed a genuine love for learning, and I attribute this to the hands-on, self-paced, and exploratory nature of the Montessori method employed here.Parent Review7mo ago - Baltimore Montessori
