Read what parents are saying about Mission Hill SchoolMission Hill School is an amazing school in the Boston Public School district. My two kids attend K2 and K0 there, and their teachers have been incredible. I cannot imagine having more thoughtful, talented, engaged and engaging teachers--they never cease to amaze us. We feel very fortunate to be apart of the Mission Hill School community. Although we've only been there for two years, I highly recommend Mission Hill School based on our experience there so far.
Posted by a parent on 3/24/2021Invaluable. Our son attended MHS from K through 8th and was supported in ways he'll carry with him his whole life. From start to finish he connected with mentors who will always be dear to him, teachers whose love was unconditional while recognizing and reinforcing each student's individuality. The experience helped our son recognize his strengths and challenges and the value of a close-knit collaborative community, and motivated him to develop in profound ways personally and as a leader.
Posted by a parent on 12/10/2019Mission Hill School has well worked for our family for the past five years. Mission Hill is always working to improve things and I appreciate that staff is transparent in their efforts. They have a big task as an urban progressive public school in 2019. Being part of the Mission Hill community has fostered lasting friendships for my children and our family. The unique learning experiences my children have had are building a foundation for a love of learning that be a strong base for their next educational experience.
Posted by a parent on 10/31/2019My child attended Mission Hill School and had a great experience. The multi year classroom helped develop their voice and leadership skills and the habits of mind and work serve well for taking on high school. The art that comes out of the school is amazing and the theme based learning allows the kids to go deep in their learning of the themes over their years at the school. I appreciated the listening conferences where teachers just listen to the student and families about their hopes and goals for the academic year and the check ins along the way. Lastly I just think the mission of the school I amazing!
Posted by a parent on 10/26/2019I have never seen an inclusion school run so well by such dedicated staff. It has been a relief having my son attend MHS and see him an active part of the community.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are in our third year at the Mendell and have had nothing but a positive experience! The members of the staff are thoughtful, friendly, and engaged and there is a strong parental community that really cares for the school. The teachers are excellent and Ms. Bott, the principal, really cares about her students. We are looking forward to our younger child hopefully starting K1 there in the Fall.Parent Review6y ago - John F Kennedy Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHi my name is Wanda G. I have 2 kids in the JFK and I believe the John F Kennedy School is a excellent school... offers a lot of programs suitable for our kids, with allot of concern for students & parents well been and communication. 95% of teachers are excellent and you can see they want the best for our kids instead of just working for a check and spending the summer off... me myself had been in programs involving me and my kids and had been times (actually must of the times) when is time to leave... (around 7:30PM), they are still there including the Principal (Miss Landing). My kids had been in JFK for their school years and I love it. When you walk in... they make you feel welcome. Can't complain about my 2nd home for my kids... cause that's how I see it. I know they are safe and having teacher with big concerns about safety.. make the JFK School one of the best school around.Parent Review9y ago - Manning Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are so happy at the Hernandez! It’s a great community and many of the teachers have been at the school for a long time and are still excited to be back every year. We have one child in pre-K and one in second and the bilingual education is wonderful. The principal is great and very accessible, and there’s lots of parent engagement.Parent Review5mo ago - Curley K-8 School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of the best schools I have ever known, I had to move and my son left with a broken heart. He always talks to me fondly about the great teacher he had here and how much he misses her.Parent Review6mo ago - British International School of Boston

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI only write this to warn anyone that be very careful with your financial dealings with this school that is part of a large collection of schools. Make sure it is correct the first time. They go into hiding, if you need any payments back for anything done previously with them. The phone line is automated with only a voice mail. No return phone calls. Emails are never returned. THERE ARE 4,300 OF THESE SCHOOLS. Be extra careful.Other Review1y ago - Hollow Reed School
