My son transferred here to Graham from southwest suburb school. My kindergartner has really blossomed since he became one of Mrs. Karnezis 's sunflowers. He loves going to school. Mrs. Karnezis fosters independence and encourages her sunflower students to engage in discussions and lessons. She is outgoing, and has a great personality that the children respond too. I was appalled at how my son's first kindergarten teacher interacted with the kiddos. My son was walking in eggshells around her. Kindergarten should be an amazing experience, and at Graham, my son has that. I went to Graham when I was in Elementary, and my family, Conners, have been in the Canaryville Neighborhood for generations. I love the sense of community and how Graham fosters choice and voice for their students. Thank you!

The principal is a joke. Student safety and overall mental health is the last thing on his agenda. He does not care about anyone's kids getting bullied. It is not a safe environment for kids. There are zero consequences. All the kids have to do is say "sorry" And All is forgiven. Kids have gotten so smart that they know they can do whatever they want to anyone. The kids are literally running around wild. It's like the wild wild West. If you send your kid here, you would not be able to sleep at night. There are good teachers there but their hands are tied.

Armour is an excellent neighborhood school! As a kindergarten parent, I've been very impressed with my son's academic progress in a short period of time. The school environment is warm and empathetic, and my son's teacher is communicative and responsive to my questions and concerns. My kiddo clearly feels safe and comfortable at school and looks forward to the school day. The school's academic performance metrics have improved significantly under Principal Chuu's leadership, and she has secured significant resources to fund brand new STEM labs that are used by all grade levels. I'm confident that Armour will be a great place for my son to attend K-8 and am very pleased to have a top-shelf neighborhood school so close to our home.

I have two boys at St. Jerome, going into 5th and 2nd. This is our second year and I am VERY happy with the school. Academically, I feel they are really being challenged. I am a big fan of the curriculum-they teach the common sense, fundamentals that kids need without all the nonsense public schools are teaching these days. There is very strong parental involvement and tons of activities that the kids get involved with generous jeans to support causes, many field trips, mother-son mayhem, father-daughter dance, all-school picnic and many other unique activities that I haven't seen at other schools.
