Castle High School

My daughter has attended He'eia elementary for her entire academic career and I'm so grateful and happy that our family has been supported by this school. They take time to build pilina and care for the students so that all the learning and friendships support the he could desire to come to school and do their best. There are plenty fun community events each year as well and our daughter has benefited from Hawaiian cultural learning embedded into all aspects of the school.

Principal is not concerned about childrens saftey.

Most excellent school with lots of parental involvement. The teachers are wonderful and commuted to the students. One of their teachers was the the State Teacher of the year 2016. Also, their counselor was State Counselor of the year! Great teaching staff and great environment.

I dont really leave a review but this time i will..Heard that they bully my daughter and Ms. Lisa a+ teacher called me right away. I called school and they take care rthis issue..i know its funny when the teacher told me its misunderstanding and not bully.but i will not argue as long as they fix the problem then i am good.Teacher was very helpful, friendly and they take care their students.

VERY POOR. The Principal is ALWAYS changing classrooms and curriculum because she "thinks" it'll work best and then when that fails, she just keeps guessing. She's inexperience and shady. She hires "teachers" that doesn't have teaching degrees. On top of that, she's rude, impatient, and apparently is in meetings ALL day everyday. She lacks accountability for her failures and blames her teachers for it.

LJA is a community that embraces its students and families and prioritizes wellbeing and happiness of everyone in addition to academic excellence. It's signature Impact Programs are absolutely amazing and have helped my two boys to be globally-minded thinkers who are plugged in to their communities, their impact on the people and places around them, and their kuleana (responsibility) to go out and make the world a better place in whatever ways they can. We are a proud LJA family and would recommend the school to anyone who shares its values and wants their kid to be a well prepared, courageous, and happy human being.
