Read what parents are saying about Parklane Elementary SchoolBoth of my kids thrived while attending Parklane. My son was well prepared for middle school, and my daughter is doing great in the 4th grade!

Posted by a parent on 1/15/2019Parklane Elementary is a great school. My son attended kindergarten with Ms. Johnson and first grade with Ms. Malone. Both teachers are great! Ms. Johnson was attentive challenged our son and communicated well with us. Ms. Johnson did a great job in teaching our son to read and provided a great environment for him to be himself. The school has great programs for students to get involved. Ms. Jones, parent liaison, encourages parents to volunteer and get involved daily. She instituted a mothers and fathers group and a host of other programs to aid parents to be their best. The parent resource room is the best I have seen. It holds supplemental educational resources for parents to check-out for student use. Dr. Fields, principal, is a great leader. He demands a lot from the faculty, staff, and students. He is approachable and communicates well with the students and parents. I chatted daily with him when dropping my son off to school. Ms. Neal at the front desk is delightful and greets everyone with a smile and helpful information. The school has a great lunchroom and the staff are helpful. The library is big and inviting. Overall, the school is great and encourages parent involvement.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't like this school! My grand daughter gets bullied,, she tells the teacher, the teacher ask if she's bleeding or hurt.. my granddaughter says no.. so she told to go back to her desk with no conversations with any of the bullies!!!! Other things have happened at this school but I will not get into it! SO THIS SCHOOL IS A HARD NO! going to start looking into other schools for my babies! 0 stars!Parent Review1mo ago - Conley Hills Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI fought with Fulton County to get my child changed to a better school. They allowed us to attend Conley Hills and this school is just is bad if not worse than the school she was assigned to. They have no organization. The teachers and staff are very rude to the children. The librarian told a group of 5th graders they won't make it to college. What kind of thing is that to say to children for their moral. The principal will never talk to parents she will push you off on every other person instead of talking to you. It took me forever to figure out who the principal was because she's not upfront or forward. She has the same attitude that the rest of her staff has. They all have attitudes and I've complained multiple times about the way the staff doesn't smile or greet the children in the morning. They only yell at the kids and talk down to them. My daughter tells me stories about what she has to experience on a daily basis and it breaks my heart. We are just trying to make it out of this school year and we will add this to our forgotten memory bank.Parent Review7y ago - Hapeville Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAMAZING! The students there are very well mannered and respectful. When I entered the classrooms, they all greeted me "Hello, Good Morning, or Hi" then got back to working. The school is good for people with families with low income which fills up more than half of the school. The faculty is very nice.Other Review5y ago - Woodward Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent academic program; new building better than old facility but new facility needs some work too. Excellent program for all grades because children are taught a grade ahead. Recommend enrolling kids in K3 &K4 to keep up with Kindergarten students. Kindergarten are a 1st grade class.Parent Review7y ago - Christ Lutheran School
