I don't like this school! My grand daughter gets bullied,, she tells the teacher, the teacher ask if she's bleeding or hurt.. my granddaughter says no.. so she told to go back to her desk with no conversations with any of the bullies!!!! Other things have happened at this school but I will not get i

Posted by a parent on 11/30/2018Perkerson Elementary School has an excellent Dual Immersion Program. The students speak in in total spanish for half the day and the other half in english. The children, truly, excel.

I have found the school to be full of caring and dedicated teachers and staff who go over and beyond the call of duty to ensure that all students learn and exprience academic success. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had two children to come through CAE and I can say each year it gets better. The former principle was engaging and the new principle is implementing new ideas to peak the children's interest in the outside world. Maybe its just me, but I haven't seen any other elementary school have a student body government voted for by the actual student body (even the "pre-Kers"). The school is even STEM/STEAM certified. I am an active parent that feels welcomed by the faculty and staff of the school. I have a child that still attends Cleveland, he is gifted and could attend a more "prestigious" school, but I don't think that school would appreciate and nurture his talents and interests as well as CAE.
