Best High School in Pinellas for Advanced special needs students and Best programs. Great teachers and JROTC program. Who ranked this school low?

This is our first year here after transferring from a charter school in Largo and both my kids absolutely love it! All of the teachers and staff are so kind. You can tell they really care about the students!

I would not recommend Liberty Christian. Our experience was very disappointing. The school did not provide the academic support that was needed, resulting in significant tutoring being required after transferring to another school. There also seemed to be a lack of understanding and accommodation for students with special learning needs. The environment felt judgmental at times rather than supportive. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I would encourage families to carefully research their options before enrolling.

My daughter is only in second grade so I haven't had enough experience to really decide how stringent the academics are. Sadly, if you live in St. Pete there are very few good schools to choose from. There is no sugar coating it, Public schools in the area are flat-out bad. The other two private schools nearby are over $25k/ year. This school is more reasonably priced and from what I understand is better academically than the public schools. I can see a big difference in my daughter's friends who go to better schools in Tampa. The technology, math, and science here seem to be severely lacking compared to highly rated schools in Tampa Bay. I'd overall say this is a step above the public school options though.

The school, the teachers and staff care about each student and their success. Along with an excellent education- each student learns Catholic values and any bullying or acting out is not tolerated. The Principal and Vice Principal take care of any issues that come up immediately and genuinely care about the kids and their success. Each teacher my kids have had has been engaged, caring and devoted to learning.

We been overjoyed by our experience at Grace. There are more opportunities for sports, the arts and academic excellence than I initially expected from so small a school, but the small size is also one of the greatest perks. My kids feel like members of a family.

Everyone I know who went here had a terrible experience. They are not there for their students.
