Staff is awesome, my child loves going here. As another review said, they're clean and affordable.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are far better schools than this. The principal is a joke and does not know how to manage staff. If you have any situations where you have to contact the principal, you'd do best to get it in an email. They will try to mistreat the child should you have complaints and if they do something wrong, they will blame the child and take steps in making sure the child appears to be the problem. They do not appear to know how to handle children with special needs. Suggestions for conflict that may arise with this school or with school within this district- get everything in an email, record all conversations, go to the principal but follow up with the district, having an advocate through any and all complaints would be ideal. The staff here will smile in your face, but they are not friendly and do not care for the overall wellbeing of the child. Protect your child and your peace of mind.Other Review8mo ago22 Reviews - Corte Sierra Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my experience, Carmela Wegg’s teaching style felt disrespectful and discouraging rather than supportive. Instead of motivating students to learn, her comments and tone often made students feel embarrassed, unheard, or afraid to participate. A classroom should be a place where students feel encouraged to ask questions and grow, but that environment was not present. This experience also raises concerns about how the school evaluates and hires teachers, as some educators seem unprepared for the responsibility of guiding and supporting students. Students deserve teachers who uplift them, not ones who make learning feel negative or unwelcoming.Parent Review8mo ago18 Reviews - St. Peter's Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had two children at St. Peter’s Montessori: one attended Nido for 10 months and our 3-year-old attended for about 7 months. We had a very good experience with Nido. Unfortunately, our experience in Children’s House (ages 3–6) was very different, particularly regarding communication and how concerns were handled. As an international military family with children still learning English, communication and collaboration were especially important to us. Our first written concern to administration went unanswered for over a month. During that time, drop-offs and pick-ups became increasingly difficult. Communication with the teacher was good about everyday matters, but the concerns we had raised were not taken seriously. Two months later, we had our only meeting with administration. We explained our concerns but left without a clear solution, and much of the meeting focused on unrelated matters. Afterward, nothing changed. Our experience was that things may work well when everything is going smoothly. However, when concerns arise and you need to advocate for young children who cannot yet fully speak for themselves, we found it extremely difficult to establish the communication and collaboration we needed. After we raised concerns in writing, both children’s enrollment was terminated by phone that same evening, without a meeting or prior warning, based on an allegation that I had “yelled” at a teacher. No such incident occurred.Nido 1 and Nido 2 were completely different. The teachers and assistants showed warmth, patience and respect, and our sons were very happy there. We remain deeply grateful to those who cared for them.We believe a school should be evaluated not only by the values it describes or when things are going smoothly, but by how those values are reflected in practice when a parent raises a concern or disagrees. Words such as collaboration, communication, respect and putting children first are meaningful only when families can rely on them during difficult situations as well. This review reflects our family’s firsthand experience, both what we valued and where our experience fell significantly short of those principles. We share it so prospective families can consider our experience alongside the school’s own description and make their own informed judgment.Parent Review3w ago17 Reviews
