The staff here is very supportive and accommodating to my special needs student. They have given me many tools to help foster growth, and we've seen an improvement in my child's overall test scores. I can't believe that after a couple years of my student being well below grade level, he's finally approaching the level of his peers. The staff is very friendly and engaged, the facility is starting to show it's age, but it's well maintained. The neighborhood feels safe, and the school doesn't have any easy entry points, so bad guys would have a hard time accessing the school.I would absolutely recommend this school. A+++

In my experience, Carmela Wegg’s teaching style felt disrespectful and discouraging rather than supportive. Instead of motivating students to learn, her comments and tone often made students feel embarrassed, unheard, or afraid to participate. A classroom should be a place where students feel encouraged to ask questions and grow, but that environment was not present. This experience also raises concerns about how the school evaluates and hires teachers, as some educators seem unprepared for the responsibility of guiding and supporting students. Students deserve teachers who uplift them, not ones who make learning feel negative or unwelcoming.

To be completely honest, this school doesn’t do a great job at enforcing what is in their handbook. As a former student at STA, I’ve witnessed much of what the handbook describes as ‘zero tolerance’. If throwing Nazi salutes and telling women to go back to the kitchen is ‘zero tolerance’, then why are they still on student council? Why hasn’t anything been done about it?The irony is insane, considering this is a Catholic school. This school doesn’t care about mental health either, nor do they prioritize it. They don’t even have a counselor you can go to.In my 10+ years here, I’ve felt more alienated than included. Instead of a student body, it felt like one big inside joke that I was never in on. Please, to any parents reading this, consider sending your child(ren) to another school. This school will destroy their mental health.

This school is organized, clean, and a locked campus. Besides being faith based the teachers go out of their way to accommodate parents requests.
