9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers at this wonderful school are caring and extremely qualified! While there are many different teaching styles, the kids leave having experienced a great variety of styles. The principal from the past several years was simply gifted and extraordinary…. Her replacement is very new and has a very different style…. So the jury is still out on him.Parent Review2y ago - Madison Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMadison just cancelled its honors classes from 2020-21 onward (same as all the other middle schools in Seattle.) HCC still exists for the few who can test into it, but everyone else will be stuck with dumbed down general ed.Parent Review4y ago - West Seattle High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was not a good experience for me. I didn’t feel welcome as a religious person, I’m a Muslim and pray 5 times a day and it was very hard praying at school .I also didn’t feel comfortable of this environment learning was very poor and stressing and there were a lot of drugs in the bathroom like I be seeing a group of people smoking in the bathroom, I’ve seen bullying and people not doing anything about it. I don’t like this school and I’m very much glad I’m not going to this school next year.Student Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 1737 Harbor Ave SW S-106 #S-106.

"I've been in a small locally owned apartment here for 2 years and have loved every second. The bus stops are incredibly close, and I have everything within walking distance -- my yoga studio, two grocery stores, any coffee shop, hair stylist, etc, etc. I feel safe on my evening runs and continuously bump into the same people. Everyone is smiling and friendly because most of this neighborhood has been here for decades -- they all know each other so you really feel like you're part of a community. Straight shot to the bridge and 10 minutes to downtown -- it's the perfect suburb in city living."
