I feel very included at this school. I am interested in most classes, and they are engaging. I've made many friends, and I like most of the teachers that have taught me. The counselors are wonderful, and I feel safe there. :)

I didn’t feel welcome as a religious person, I’m a Muslim and pray 5 times a day and it was very hard praying at school .I also didn’t feel comfortable of this environment learning was very poor and stressing and there were a lot of drugs in the bathroom

Her teachers were exceedingly supportive of her every endeavor, and if it were not for the stellar education at West Seattle High School, she never would have made it to the Ivy L

The class sizes are small (~15-16), the building is new, and the teachers and staff we've gotten to know have been kind and skilled, with excellent understanding of their students and the motivation to support them on their individual journeys. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in Kindergarten here. Her teacher speaks to all of the parents every morning and has great communication with the families. I always know how my daughter is doing and how her day went. She loves classes like garden science and is learning her numbers and letters quickly. There is no shortage of parent volunteers for this class. As an option school, most families are involved and interested in their child's education. It's helped round out the school with the after-school enrichment and other opportunities outside of just core academics that we've seen a number of families put time and effort into. If anything we wish SPS would fund these schools, and all their schools better.
