He is incredibly driven and strives to make connections with students, supporting them however possible. His enthusiasm is contagious, and he makes it clear he truly cares about students. While there are surely some teachers who are lacking that same enthusiasm, there are some stellar teachers who work endlessly to educate their students. Highland presents a welcoming environment, filled with diversity. I was hesitant to start attending the school last year, having heard about a negative reputation. I was pleasantly surprised. As a sophomore moving into my second semester, I am faced with nothing but future opportunities, encouragement, and guidance as I move forward. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child enjoys this school much more than Sandia Base. He loves that he got to pick some of his own classes and gets to learn guitar. He has witnessed fights already that left children bloody. He has also been bullied already but the principal took care of it as soon as it was brought to his attention. So far this year the school had to be locked down only a couple months into the school year because someone had a gun outside the school. "I don’t own dogs so I’m not sure what the neighborhood needs there. There are dog poop pick up stations."

"There are lots of dog parents here however, not all are responsible about cleaning up after their four feet babies. That leaves those of us who don’t have dogs to clean up after the. This should not even be an issue because the HOA provides poop bags all around the neighborhood. Them and their nasty ways will eventually make it so no one can have dogs at all."

"We have a multi generational center that caters to all residents in and around the community. There is something to do for everyone. Crafts like woodcarving, knitting, quilting, pottery, jewelry making and painting. The also plan day trips to other activities in the state. They host the annual senior Olympics. "

"Mirabella homeowners association designed a beautiful neighborhood, limited thru sheets contribute to safe streets to walk your pet, or have a morning jog on the many paths. Mirabella is convenient to excellent schools, Monzano Multigenerational Facility, a huge park with playground, KAFB and Sandia Labs Eubank endurance. Just east of Four Hills the Mountains are only minutes away! "
