It is apparent the teacher doesn’t care about our child. Despite several request, we have absolutely no clue what our child is doing on a month to month, week to week let alone day to day basis. Principal doesn’t believe in homework so parents are even more out of thr loop. Parents aren’t allowed in the school. No parent engagement (no PTO). I ask my child everyday what they learned in school that day, the response is always we learn about nature or the weather….never anything substantive. It’s no surprise the test scores are so low. The current school formula doesn’t work. Our child will NOT be returning to Arrowhead Elementary school next year.

Kettering Middle School Spanish Immersion (KMSSI) is a wonderful school! Principal Strother is an exceptional leader who truly stands out with her commitment to not only academic success but also the social and emotional well-being of the students. She promotes a culture supporting her vision “GROWING TOGETHER - Cultivating Excellence... The Kettering Way!” The dedication to promoting the development of every students social and emotional well being through initiatives, counseling services, peer support programs and mindfulness activities. Principal Strother creates a supportive environment where students feel valued, heard, and understood. Principal Strother also is committed to academic excellence. Under her guidance the school implements innovative teaching strategies and support systems to ensure that every student reaches their potential. Principal Strother's leadership sets the standard for excellence.

The new Administrators need to be replaced with very good experienced and customer oriented staff. You supposed lead by example, so it not surprising how rude the school personnel are because the Principal, Assistant Principals, Security Sargent and staff. They were supposed be engaging with the parents (only if you agree with them) and students. If you don’t agree with them then they don’t help the parents or students. If you don’t help make their job easy by agreeing with them you get no help and they strategically do everything in their power even use students to go after other students to create a false narrative to have the student forced out of the school. I know this review is falling on deaf ears because but it need to stated and hopefully something will be done for the better. Every child not perfect but before you condemn a student really understand a student perspective. The school is run like a clique, if you not apart of their sorority or fraternity then you will not be helped by the Principal and Assistant Principals and staffs. This school need better caring, respectable, student and parent engaging leaders not who is who, and being bullied by the people who supposed to manage school and take of the students.
