Read what parents are saying about Arrowhead Elementary SchoolIt is apparent the teacher doesn’t care about our child. Despite several request, we have absolutely no clue what our child is doing on a month to month, week to week let alone day to day basis. Principal doesn’t believe in homework so parents are even more out of thr loop. Parents aren’t allowed in the school. No parent engagement (no PTO). I ask my child everyday what they learned in school that day, the response is always we learn about nature or the weather….never anything substantive. It’s no surprise the test scores are so low. The current school formula doesn’t work. Our child will NOT be returning to Arrowhead Elementary school next year.

Posted by a parent on 10/4/2022I love this school and wish it went up to 12th grade. My middle child was promoted from this school last year and her teachers and the staff were EXCELLENT!! I literally have no complaints. My youngest daughter still attends this school and I feel comfortable sending her to Arrowhead by herself. This school has a no hands policy and deals with bullying as soon as it's reported. The receptionist is always friendly and helpful whenever I call to report the bus being late. This school is very busy as there are a lot of children, however, the professionalism that I've experienced and have seen has been the best. My little 2nd grader enjoys going to school and majority of the teachers and staff know her by name. As a mother, it makes me feel happy and satisfied to know that school staff actually like your child and will tell you as well. Sometimes I drive my daughter to school and I'm proud to see the same faces standing outside with smiles greeting and literally assisting each drop off child with opening the car/truck doors of the parents vehicles and guiding each student to the sidewalk to enter the school, whether it's sunny, rainy, snowing or sleeting the staff is there with smiles. I love it! Keep up the great work ArrowHead Elementary!
Posted by a parent on 2/8/2019My main issue is the main office. The Secretary has a terrible habit of not listening. I can't end my sentences because she interjects every other word. I have been in the office and watched the receptionist hanging up on callers instead of putting them on hold. Also, the teachers seem to lack eye for detail... yes I get there's a lot of students but there has to be a better grading system.

The 5th graders are HORRIBLE they scream they shout they curse, they fight . THE WHOLE SHABANG. For your safety and your child’s safety never send your children to this school EVER.Teacher Review1mo ago - Longfields Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMrs. Bell is awesome and loves the children at her school. Mrs. Berg is dedicated and experienced teacher who is responsive to parents concerns and push our kids to reach their full potential. The TAG program is, so far, all that we had hoped for and this school is definitely a hidden gem.Parent Review3mo ago - North Forestville Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePCA is a great school! My son attended the school for 4 years. I took him out only because we moved to another state. During that time, he was challenged, motivated and encouraged to do and be his best. The parents during that time were very involved with the school and we helped work with the faculty and teachers to ensure our students' success. I was impressed with the traditional and non-traditional teaching styles. The teachers held advanced degrees and it showed. My son is now teaching others. I believe the education and care received during his years at Progressive are partially responsible.Parent Review10y ago - Holy Family Catholic School
