His classes frequently had teachers leave mid school year and his Math class never even had a permanent teacher- it was like a substitute every day. Did faculty try to prevent these things? Yes. But the fighting and disrespect is so out of hand I don't think even they know how to handle it. I hate to use the term "inner city" but that is exactly what this school emulates. There are ten classes per grade level, so all kids are rightly placed. All the teachers teach well, though I wouldn't recommend teaching there (it is very cliquey among the teachers). The other thing I didn't like about this school was the lack of diversity. Everyone there was blonde haired-blue eyed christians, which I found kind of annoying. This principal takes liberties that are not within her authority, yet the district provides no accountability. While the administration is terrible at this school, it is a product of the school board and district's example of zero accountability. "I love this area. It is only 5 1/2 miles from Ft. Myers Beach, 10 miles from Sanibel, and 1 mile from the river. There is also a boat ramp and dock in the community. It is bike and pedestrian friendly. It has a lake with walking trail around it. It is also a quite neighborhood. It is close to shopping and restaurants as well. I love, love, love this area."
