2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI thought I would like this school because my son wasn’t able to attend the same district as his siblings due to overflow. Now my son has been going to school here for his first year of Kindergarten for almost a month now. Today we were told that he can no longer attend there and will be transferred to a different school because there are too many students. Why is it that this was not mention when we first enrolled him? If this was the case I would’ve never enroll him there! It’s not fair my for child to be moving from school to school. I just feel like the all staff including the principal need better improvement on communication for all registrations that it is NOT GUARANTEE although they have excepted students applications. We as parents need to be aware of this so we know what to expect instead of a surprised phone call.Parent Review1y ago - Hiram W. Johnson High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers and staff are very involved in the students academics. The only downside is you have some bad apples when it comes to students. Without all those bad apples, this school has potential. All I hear is hearsay from parents talking about this school being bad but they never went to this school. I’d say give the school a chance and judge for yourself.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 4500 38th Ave.

"If I could afford to live somewhere else I would. There are some good people here but far too many seem not to care about the neighborhood. The the streets are full of trash and abandoned cars. People speeding down the streets while kids are playing. This neighborhood seems to have been forgotten by the city. "
