5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience at KCE has been wonderful knowing my child is safe, cared for and learning from excellent staff. The teachers truly care about the students and take the time to understand each child’s unique needs. My child has grown so much academically. We feel grateful to be part of such a supportive and fun community.Parent Review5mo ago10 Reviews - Ruffner Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've had to transfer my oldest daughter from Dunbar to this school due to being bullied and suicidal ideation. When I transferred her here, she excelled, and is doing a lot better. Been here for 2 years now, with this our last year. Definitely recommend this school to parents looking for a great school for their children to excel. Just found out they have PreK and I'll be sending my two youngest here.Parent Review10y ago4 Reviews - Mountaineer Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMMS can be compared to a double-edged sword. It's good but not ENTIRELY good. Science class was FIRE. Emily Beal is an amazing science teacher who actually feeds into a student's curiosity instead of beating it out like most middle schools. There were ups and downs, lows and highs, but I survived. The field trips were either a hit or a miss, half miss half hit. Although one thing I disliked was taking notes. Not the act of it, just the way we were forced to use Cornell notes instead of our own methods, which led me to struggle to comprehend my notes because Cornell style wasn't the type that clicked with me. Evan (if that's the right way to spell it) is an MVP P.E. teacher. Peak P.E. teacher tbh. Instead of just baseless exercises we did actual sports like tennis, volleyball, kickball, basketball, flag football, and paddleboarding. Maria has to be an S-tier Spanish teacher, thank God for her patience. One thing I didn't quite like was that we would often have group punishments in school. If one person in a group did something bad, the ship sank with them. It was very unfair and discouraging. The boy's bathroom needs a SERIOUS renovation, it looks medieval. Secret Santa, or Secret Snowflake as they wanted us to call it was pretty fun, especially when everyone brought their own food for everyone to enjoy. The school is definitely not for everyone, but it is worth checking out!Other Review1y ago6 Reviews - St. Agnes School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall I would say that our experience with St. Agnes has been wonderful! The teacher really do care about the children and their academic growth and success. The overall goal with in each classroom clearly is to develop the whole child!Other Review7y ago6 Reviews - Sacred Heart Grade School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love, love this school. All our three kids went there, they have fun but also the spiritual and academic foundation that the school provided, is beyond words!! SHGS help us to integrate with the community when we move from out state, the principal is awesome as the teachers... and thought SHGS programs (scouts, communion) we ended to make a friends for life!!! We will be for ever grateful !!!!Parent Review8y ago2 Reviews - Charleston Montessori School
