Weberwood Elementary is a National School of Excellence as well as a WV Blue Ribbon School . It has been recognized for many years as one of the best in the state of WV. The staff at Weberwood is second to none!!! They encourage not only the above normal education needs of the students but also the physical education of the students . The staff is knowledgeable, caring, demanding and above all understanding of each child's needs . They help each student achieve their goals. The test scores are always in the upper status of the state and consistently as stated. I love being a part of the experience but more importantly my grandchildren love it. Many thanks for a job well done!!!!!!

Do not put your child in the preschool, coming from a former worker and parent of children that attend it is a horrible place. Management is horrible they approve time off and then tell you you have to come in even though you have the approval, if you’re sick and have a doctors note and the director tells you to take the day off and you’ll get in trouble. It’s had a miscarriage and got fired for being unpredictable. They were very insensitive towards my family during the situation. You can be covered in throw up and they still expect you to show up without going home to change. Teachers yell at children and put them in time out for simply crying. They also get denied extra food when they’re hungry.
