"Busy streets, lots of street racing. Decent amount of grocery stores and coffee shops. No community pool nearby. "

"There is a small cute dog park nearby. There are also many cute walks you can take your dog on! On top of that, the barkery is adorable"

"Family oriented neighborhood, peaceful, friendly, residents take their children to parks, walk their dogs, low crime, no homeless. Main street on 5th sits a long term local coffee shop, Crest movie Theater which needs to be preserved."

"It’s very quiet compared to downtown depending on where you are. Where I currently live is tucked in suburbs so it’s quiet but has things right by it that are useful such as 7-11, and a different food truck every day along with a pub & cafe next door. Even the crest theatre is across the street for entertainment!"

"I just moved here 4 weeks ago, so I am still very new to this area. From what I’ve experienced so far, it seems like a nice community."

"You need to make sure you are involved in your child’s school for engagement for your children. Or have them involved in the community center. This will give your children options in terms of things to do outside of the home. "

"People are very friendly. The Crest Theatre is awesome! The new Parkwood elementary is beautiful, and there is so much renovation happening to beautify the city . "

"Truly a hidden gem of an area. A well policed, clean, highly walkable, suburban area with plenty of parks and only a few miles from down town Seattle. The schools are excellent (and walkable in the neighborhoods). Shopping is plentiful. Busing is always within a block or two and quite convenient. From my home in the North City area (which was just completely rebuilt), shopping is two blocks, the elementary school is 3 blocks, the Library is 3 blocks, Parks are 2, 3 and 4 blocks, in 25 years we have had no crime but once a wave of graffiti. All the backyards are tied together and mostly fenced. Pets are well accepted. If I ever move, it will only be because of family, definitely not location. Which btw is within 5mins of the sound, 5mins of Lake Washington, 2 hours from Canada, 1.5 hours from Skiing."
