Some amazing teachers but one star based mainly on the current Principal. Our School Bd rep pulled her family member out of this school. Our class dealt with a severe behavioral issue. Principal coddled a student to the determent of others. Gifted Services is a joke, no accountability and extremely poor communication. Many families did not know about ODS Visual Arts and Dance program (they buried it at the bottom of an e-newsletter). Unacceptable! Our kid missed the chance to apply which was a dagger thru my heart as was recognized elsewhere for art ability & everyone deserves a chance to compete for a spot. Our school is 70% military affiliated which I love (we are not military but have a proud military tradition), some NATO which is great. Extremely transient vs. a private or small town public school. Many need tutoring so not ideal for gifted learners. Kids definitely over use Chromebooks. Old Donation (gifted magnet school) gets better resources and curriculum. Dr. Robertson seems like a good Supt. We have good local school bd reps who get it. Hopefully some changes ASAP to improve our #38 out of #55 ranking VB Elementary Schools.

My daughter has attended 1st & 2nd grade here so far. Very impressed with this school. We’re military so we move a lot, I’ve seen some bad schools and some great schools. Luxford is great. They communicate, have family events, safety is taken seriously, my daughter is excelling academically.

Good luck trying to find anything wrong with this school! The administration loves these kids and treats everyone like family. Never in my life have I experienced such a phenomenal school.

I couldn't ask for better if I paid tuition. This school is amazing. It checks every box. Its more than a s tool its a little family that lives and supports the kids like their own. The collaboration between staff and parents is unsurpassed

My son (age 27) my nephew (age 24) and now my grandson (age 6) have all attended this school. The Bagents foster a small, individualized, loving Christian valued relationship with students and parents alike. I would recommend it to anyone looking in the Ocean Park/ Shore Drive corridor.

This school does not accept any children with disabilities. All the money earned and raised by this private school, and not a dollar of it is spent on special education needs. Not only is this school full of discrimination, but the head of the school has no sense of time or ethics when it comes to letting you know your child was denied based on disability.

They are out of business....no longer in operation.
