7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've had a wonderful experience at Deep Creek Elementary School so far. My daughter just finished Kindergarten and I can't say enough good things about her teacher and teaching assistant. They were absolutely incredible. They created fun, engaging learning activities that helped the kids grow both academically and socially. We had great communication all year and parents always knew what was going on with their child. From day one, the entire staff has been so kind and welcoming. The school truly goes out of their way to get parents involved and even honors military families. I always felt like my child was genuinely cared for and supported. We're so grateful to be part of such a special school!Parent Review9mo ago19 Reviews - G.A. Treakle Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 6 yr old started this year and she's as happy as she can be. I did a video with her teacher today so I could meet her and go over my daughter's progress. They always include parents and continuously try to encourage parents to join the PTA. My daughter was being picked on be another little girl and the teacher took care of the problem and there has been no more issues not to mention the protective crossing guard.....Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Deep Creek Central Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDeep Creek Central Elementary is an outstanding school! The teachers are truly wonderful—dedicated, caring, and always going the extra mile to ensure each child thrives. The school creates a warm and welcoming environment where students feel supported and excited to learn. The staff is attentive to both academic and personal development, and the community spirit is strong.Additionally, the sheriff on staff is incredibly kind, and our children really liked her. We always felt very safe knowing that the security team was there, keeping the environment secure and peaceful. The family engagement events were also a highlight—they were fun, well-organized, and gave us the opportunity to get a firsthand look at the classroom and meet the friends our kids talk about. We couldn't be happier with our experience at Deep Creek Central and highly recommend it to any family looking for a top-notch education and a safe, nurturing environment for their children. They also provide support for active duty military families and that has been great for our family.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - Joyous Sound Education & Enrichment Center

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you want to send your children to the elementary side, the people are nurturing and consistently just. However, after the 5th grade, I would not recommend this school at all. Most of the adults are rigid, unChrist-like and disrespectful to parents. To be plain, they do not partner with parents in helping your child. Your child will be sanctioned without input from you and if you question their ways, they make it hard for your child to feel safe and succeed with a clear slate. Adults share your child's information with other teachers and admin smirks if your child gets written up, at least that's what my son witnessed with himself. I used to be an advocate for this school; however, my support of PCS has changed significantly after attending the middle school. I would suggest you have your child attend a school where they actually listen to the student, care about their progress and value communication with the parent to be restorative versus punitive. The middle school could be compared to reform school, not a Christian school. Pick another middle school.Parent Review2y ago14 Reviews - Growing Station Day Care
