"There are quite a few schools in the area and it is very family friendly. My son is just a baby so I cannot speak to how they fare against others."

"Block parties, informal gatherings, holiday cookouts — neighbors are wonderful here. It is a nice mix of longtime owners, newer owners, renters who take pride in their homes as well as owners do. And lots of friendly people and dogs. "

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAt this school my child thrived! He was previously going to a private catholic school which he hated. After 3 years of that, I decided to put him in Bush Hill and he loved it. He is now going to middle school and he is very advanced and engaged thanks to his elementary school.Bush Hill is a great school!Parent Review9mo ago11 Reviews - Cameron Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son started Cameron in Kindergarten. He's finishing 4th grade right now. We both really love the experiences he's had at the school, and all of his teachers have been EXCELLENT. It's a shame the school's rating on this site is as low as it is, because it leaves the false impression that they don't provide a high-quality education for the students, which couldn't be more wrong. The school is also really diverse, so it provides a great environment for students to get to know and become friends with other kids from different ethnicities, countries, and cultures. My guess as to why the test scores aren't higher is because quite a few of the students (and their families) don't speak English as their first language, which might cause some communication and understanding difficulties. But it's certainly not because the teachers are of low quality. They have been friendly, patient, and caring every year so far. And the extracurricular activities organized by the PTA (Back to School night, Open House, International Nights, etc.) are a blast! Go Cobras!!! :)Parent Review6y ago12 Reviews - Clermont Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll three of my kids have loved Burgundy. I currently have two enrolled and one that graduated last year and is in High School now. From the moment you step onto the campus, you can feel the warmth, intention, and authenticity that make this school stand out. The teachers are not only highly skilled but genuinely invested in each child’s growth—academically, socially, and emotionally. They take time to understand every student as an individual, creating an environment where kids feel seen, supported, and encouraged to explore their interests. This carries with them as they attend high school and college. The school’s hands-on, experiential learning approach is a game changer. Students don’t just memorize facts—they engage with the world around them, think critically, and develop a real love of learning. The campus itself is beautiful and thoughtfully maintained, offering plenty of outdoor space that’s actually integrated into the curriculum.Communication with families is excellent, and the sense of community is one of the strongest I’ve experienced. Parents, teachers, and staff truly work together, and it shows in the confidence and joy you see in the students. If you’re looking for a school that combines strong academics, compassionate educators, and a nurturing environment, Burgundy Country Day School deserves to be at the top of your list. Highly recommend!Parent Review6mo ago23 Reviews - Christian Center School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been attending this school for two years now. Kindergarten and now First Grade. Kindergarten was good for the most part except I don't believe that the teaching staff have Education Degrees. His Kindergarten teacher had a degree in finance and was not engaged in encouraging the children up to my standards. Many complaints for this teacher and she is now not part of the faculty. 1st Grade teacher is outstanding in comparison and is very well organized. My son enjoys his class. He is learning more than expected and is reading extremely well. Arithmetic's and Bible study are also outstanding. I really would like to see the Extended Learning Care (before and after care) be more organized. They are learning absolutely nothing during this time. It's basically play time with a couple of assistants or high school kids watching. It should be spent completing homework assignments. I enjoy the extra curricular activities, basketball, soccer, chess, and piano. Lots of fundraising! Front desk staff are pleasant and the principal does her best to keep staff in line. Her door is always open and is quick to correct any issues.Parent Review11y ago14 Reviews
