Pine Mountain

I am beyond impressed with Cottonwood High School! I had always heard negative things about Cottonwood and when my son said he wanted to go to Cottonwood I was a little hesitant. He is proud to be part of the football team which is growing and gaining new records. The basketball team has also been a great experience. AP classes, Acadamy of Finance and a community of students that lean on one another where diversity is celebrated! My student has been thriving at Cottonwood and has more opportunities than I could have imagined. My daughter will be starting there next year as well. We are proud to be Colts!

School has gone downhill since the admin change in 2024. The principal before wasn’t great but this current one is horrible. Here are a couple of things that make her and this school so bad:1) My kids are getting hurt on the playground and no one is doing anything. My kids are always saying the yard duties aren’t there or just on their phone.2) There is no actual consequences for students’ actions. I heard a kid was choking other students and he never got suspended. How can I ensure the safety of my children.Major action needs to be taken to bring the school back to what it used to be.

Spring Lane Elementary school in Holladay Utah has been torn down. It no longer exists.

We have had children at this school for the last six years. We have been very pleased with the academic rigor and Christian values. We’ve met many amazing Christian families through involvement at ICS. Our graduated children were well prepared for college academics. The teachers have been amazing and are easy to communicate with. We have seen a care and love for our children from the staff that goes beyond just teaching, they really care about our kids.

I was told a hundred different things by a hundred different people at this school. Even if you are catholic the chances are slim you’ll be given the time of day. I understand the last few years have been difficult for this school and the director changing multiple times but frankly it’s disorganized and dishonest given the inability to be kind enough to respond to people just with applications I can’t imagine it being a good school to attend its not crowded there is no excuse. I spoke several people who told me my child was enrolled or as good as enrolled in this school encouraged us to apply multiple times only to be a week away from school starting and still have no formal acceptance or rejection letter no consideration no response or zero care to just simply respond just hundreds of dollars down the drain not to mention me donating money directly to the school and to my friends fundraisers who attend there just to be ignored. Don’t bother applying or even considering it better off at another catholic school the nearby charter school or Waterford where my daughter will be attending.
