"This is a very dog oriented neighborhood. My immediate neighbors are not happy about that as they do not like dogs. They are now surrounded by them."

"There are always people walking their dogs in the neighborhood, and almost every yard is fenced for dogs. There’s also a fantastic dog-friendly park in the neighborhood, Tanner Park, which is very clean and well kept and has dog-friendly trails that always have people along them. "

"There are always tons of families out walking dogs and almost every yard has one. There’s also a Petsmart and several boutique pet food stores within a 10 minute drive, and a dog- friendly (unfenced) park with trails for dog walking. "

"This is the neighborhood I grew up in. It has changed from young families in the 50s to young families again and old hold outs like me. I like the mix. "

"The neighborhood is at the very foot of incredible mountains. There is a vast city view to the west. You can see the jets landing at the airport on a clear night. To the north , south and east are the incredible Wasatch Mountains. What’s not to love?"

"Canyon Rim is a fantastic suburban neighborhood. We'd be happy to live here the rest of our lives. There are many WWII veterans who have owned here since the 50's but also many young families with 3-4 children. "

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRosecrest is about what I would expect from a white, middle class, mostly LDS school in the Salt Lake area. There is zero diversity, an overabundance of food related rewards, and almost zero sense of greater community. The school is basically run by a handful of outspoken parents and trying to break into that clique is fierce. The education my children have received has been average in some areas, far less than average in others (especially math and science). It's a public school in the least funded state, so I didn't have high hopes, but I really didn't expect it to be so oppressive and uncomfortable. If you are a middle class, mormon family from Canyon Rim/Millcreek, I am sure this school is just lovely.Parent Review8y ago4 Reviews - Elizabeth Academy
