My son has spent three years at this school and it has all been a good experience!

This school is GREAT! I had 3 kids over the span of 7 years here at Oak Hills. I love the admin and teachers and I know whenever I had a concern I could bring it to their attention and have it resolved. The PTA is overkill and a little intense. I always joke, back to school morning you better bring your running shoes because each parent RUNS to the classroom to sign up for the Halloween houses or the Christmas around the world or the other seni-religious traditions this school maintains. I liked being involved but I don't like the feeling of the competitive stay-at-home moms. Overall, great school and your kids will be well cared for!

My child was in the special needs until I found out she wad threatened by the aid to not tell me or her father anything or she would be punished and put in time out. The principal Karen Miller chose to defend the aid over the child. This school also has issues with to many children in special needs and not enough aids or help. I would avoid this school.

Excellent teachers and staff work hard to meet students needs

We wanted to love this school. Unfortunately, if your child is not a robot the teacher's and principal will not know what to do. It feels very "old fashioned" in the approach to disipline. My biggest concern is a total lack of Catholic identify. The teachers, Vice Principal and Principal sure expect students to be living a Christian life, when they themselves don't emulate the same. Administration is constantly yelling and lecturing students. Nearly daily my students have a story of somebody yelling at them for something. In no way is this what you would expect from a Catholic school and I have heard that even more families will be moving after what has been experienced this year. Some of the new teachers who have come in are great. Some have already quit. The new principal has done well at sprucing up the campus, but that's about as much as she has done to help this school thrive. They need a new administration who actually cares about the families. The VP needs to go (not even sure she has a teaching credential).
