Spring Branch

My little girl has been in this school since kindergarten and was bullied until the beginning of second grade also got dropped off in wrong bus stop at a very dangerous area in the neighborhood this school does not really let parents engage in activities with the kids. My daughter has only had one field trip in the 3 yrs and it was just making slime I don’t feel like they really care for the students .communication is horrible list goes on and on

I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews about this school and Memorial in general. I am not even a minority, just a liberal/free thinker, but I feel unwelcome in this community and my free-thinking kindergartner has had trouble making friends and felt bullied at VOE. It makes me sad when I see how easily she can make friends when in a more open-minded environment. We will not be staying in this area through Memorial High School, that's for sure.

As someone who went there and sent my son there i cant express how much we love this school. I purposely didn't move because our kids really enjoy this school and the staff. The teachers a re really engaging with the kids and build a relationship with them. They've helped my son in so many ways, from helping him understand why he struggles with reading to the process to take in and out of school. I always recommend this school to anyone who is questioning where to send their kids.
