this school is just an overall bad school

Staff is horrible everyone has a bad attitude .. i dont kno why everyone mean grumpyalot of negativity here

We were having way too many issues with the school and my daughter’s behaviors were getting worse. An Assistant grabbed my autistic child’s arm one day and then my final straw was someone from the school told my husband we should start spanking her. I had to report the school to the TEA and the principal's first suggestion, at my child’s ARD Meeting, was to transfer my daughter to a new school, not what they could do to remedy it. They clearly wanted to get rid of my child and not help her. When I asked my daughter why she was being bad, her reason was, “I’m a bad kid”, so the teachers and assistants were telling my 6 year old, autistic child that she was a bad kid. After discussing with family and my daughter’s School Advocate/Social Worker, we decided to pull her from the school and homeschool her. The social worker even said it sounds like a Civil Liberties issue with the school. If you’re child is in special education or has disabilities, I DO NOT Recommend this school

Great elementary school for my soon to be 8 year old so far. She was welcomed into the after school program on the first day of registration which is a blessing. She informed me that she made friends at the school and students at this school have been nice as well as teachers. School is close to home which makes it convenient to drop off and pick up. After school program teachers are great as well. Two staff members in the front office are very helpful, nice and also do give great feedback if your asking them and makes you feel welcomed which I loved. The school does offer family activities and send out information to parents. They are here to help our little students learn and achieve greatness.

We have had the best experience with TLE. You get what you put in, the teachers and staff have been amazing with our kids and they’ve thrived in an environment that pushes them daily. Principal Coulter runs an excellent ship there.

They never had bottoms at their store. They will tell you to go to their supplier, Lone Star in Arlington. Lone Star in Arlington does not like doing business with them because of the consistent going back and forth of what they want. Then the school will mark your child for not wearing the right clothes which they have 3 strikes and you are kicked out of the school. They also did not inform us that even after interviewing us and accepting our money that our kids will still be in a 9 week probation period where they can kick them out. They expect your child to be a dog. You do as they say and you cannot explain because they "Don't want to hear excuses" because apparently half the size of a public school class is overwhelming and they don't know how to say "I can't talk right now but when I have time I will". They didn't even read or following the IEP that we provided for our kids. They have made sure to block Google reviews unlike other Christian schools like Crossroad Christian Academy that has reviews, some that are over 8 years old from post. They probably reset their reviews on Yelp.
