"My neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. I just got married and we want to move to Bartlett. I have never seen any buses except for the school buses run in this area."

"Itās an okay place. It has it perks. It could be a great place to live. Just needs a few updates here and there. It could be approved in a lot of great ways. Just need the manpower to do so. "

"Constant burglaries. Alarm system and bars on windows are needed if you plan to live here. Don't leave anything out unless you want it stolen."

"the lack of police presence regardless of complaints & regular gun shots heard during the night. the amount of stray dogs & cats that wonder the streets with no regard for anyone's safety. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDespite what the reviews may say, my four years of being a New Hope parent has been a great experience. Any time I've had issues or concerns with my child's teacher or staff, they have been addressed. As parents, we must take accountability for our child's education and not rely on schools to do that for us. As a single parent I foster a home environment as an extension of what my child is learning at school. I've had a great relationship with all my son's teachers in order for the three of us to have a great school experience.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Frayser Achievement Elementary

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat happen was my child like a couple days before school ended got into a fight with a girl who started with her first in basketball the girl pushed her then she pushed back then the girl started hitting her they went to the front office one girl got wrote up and got her field day taken away mean while my child got her parents called wrote up and the administrator or whatever said the other girls part of the story and never mention not one bit of my daughters story and these girls who were the other girl friend was saying my daughter fouls a lot in basketball but I see her play basketball and none of that happens and sheās quick to apologize for a foul and fighting is not like her so I know this wasnāt the only time they started messing with her and I am disappointed in the school for taking other people sides and being unfair I will leave a bad review on here .Parent Review3mo ago6 Reviews - Hawkins Mill Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall its a good school but some things should be addressed !My daughter attended Hawkins Mill Elementary for two years without a problem! Her second grade year her assigned teacher snatches her by her arm! Since my child came forward about this incident She has started to be picked with consistently by this same teacher. She goes from Aās and Bās to Dās and Fās We spoke with the principal about moving her to a different Class an it was no acccomadation My child was being mentally abusedParent Review3y ago5 Reviews - Westside Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a very hard working school that uses all the resources they have to make sure students can achieve. The school fights to stay open while surrounded by schools that are in the bottom 5%. Westside is not. It is a bright spot in Frayser.Parent Review8y ago3 Reviews - Whitney Achievement Elementary School
