"They should not be allowed to walk loose on the street, they are dangerous, they can bite a person and they would be in trouble, they would not like that."

"The kids these days are not like we were back in the day . The streets have gotten so bad ! I remember walking everywhere, when I was a kid. Keep you babies home or be their drivers. "

"we have lived here 4 years. when we first moved in, it wasnt terrible. its still not but there has been an increase in crime rate and the amount of vagrants we see wandering around. rarely hear gunshots. there is a lot of noise and crazy drivers, people who think its cool to fly around in residential areas. grahamwood is a decent school but pick up/drop off is a nightmare. ive seen tons of rats outside in my yard and the road and my neighbors say the same thing. its very diverse. the shopping strip looks like a dump and really needs updating. too many people with noisy chickens. mosquitoes are terrible. we have never had our house broken into or anything. neighbors are very nice. "I’ve lived here for 13 years and it’s unique if you are Hispanic and want or need to rent. It’s an older neighborhood that was great back in the day of Firestone, Plough and International Harvester. "

"you'll get robbed if you leave anything outside, and on the 4th of July you'll be scared how many automatic weapons you hear going off all night long. "

"I see dog walkers all the time. Mostly men. I just don’t feel particularly safe walking mine. Most aren’t good at picking up what dogs tend to leave behind though."

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love the staff. But it appears they are not organized.everyone stands alone & not as a team. The scores for this school will stay low because they only concentrate on kids that struggle. There is nothing to offer for the children that excel !Parent Review7y ago1 Reviews - Berclair Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is pretty good as far as Memphis public schools go but there are much better private options available. There is a lot of tension between the traditional and optional students and there is bullying by the traditional students. If you can’t home school or pay for private just make sure you are there as often as possible to keep an eye on how things are done.Parent Review2y ago18 Reviews
